Legal Alfalfa – known for producing its superior quality Alfa Tec cubes and pellets is fed to numerous classes of animals. The Alfa Tec products are an excellent source of natural protein and fibre and are fed extensively to horses, dairy cattle, beef cattle, bison, deer, elk, goats and sheep. Legal Alfalfa has marketing distribution points throughout many areas in Canada and large quantities are sold overseas as well. Legal Alfalfa Products Ltd. is fortunate to be strategically located in an area of Alberta where some of the highest quality alfalfa is grown. Its alfalfa processing plant is situated near the Town of Legal, just 30 km. north of Edmonton. By contracting alfalfa with local farmers and purchasing bales from a large area, Legal Alfalfa offers new alternatives to the farming community. Our company processes approximately 60,000 tonnes annually of alfalfa into dehydrated alfalfa pellets and hay cubes. It employs as many as 60 employees during the peak season. The local spin off of this type of Agra-Business is substantial, and Legal Alfalfa Products Ltd. is proud to be a member of the Legal Community.
